Just a small town North Dakotan moving to Big Sky country. Through time I found my way to architecture through my curiosity of how things work, and how they relate to other things around them. Leaving High School for North Dakota State University, I found myself jumping into a career field that I knew nothing about. After the first year of Architecture school, it had shown me the passion that goes into these structures. It also showed me how someone so small could create something that could change lives of the people around them and possibly the world one day. These things are some of the driving force behind my passion for architecture and my designs.
I also have numerous different passions in my life. The first being riding motorcycle. Through the past couple years, I have really gotten into riding and doing numerous different trips with friends. Also, while on the topic of traveling, I also enjoy traveling to new areas. I studied abroad for a semester during college and visited fourteen different countries during that time. Seeing all these different places with the architecture, that I thought I would never see in my life, it gave me that hunger of traveling. Haven’t traveled anywhere lately I’m always willing to go on an adventure.
Since I moved to the mountains, the biggest question I was asked is, “Do you ski or snowboard?” and I do have to say I have always been a snowboarder. But having never been to the mountains to snowboard, I can’t truly call myself a true snowboarder. This is something I hope to change soon. My last two passions are music and watching movies. Throughout my life music has always been a part of it. From listening to music, being in numerous different choirs throughout high school and college, and joining the Symphony Choir here in Great Falls, I would have to say life is dull without music. And if I’m not doing one of my other numerous passions, you will always find me glued to a T.V. screen watching movies with friends and family.
