My dream to become an architect started at a very young age. I was fortunate enough to attend a middle school that offered architectural courses, and thanks to the support of my teachers and family I was able to discover my love for this art. I grew up in the town of Wyoming, Minnesota a smaller tight-knit community. I knew that one day my continued education would lead me away from home and before I was old enough to apply, I was certain on attending North Dakota State University. Their accelerated Master of Architecture program attracted me to make the move to Fargo, ND. During my five years in college my love for architecture only grew! I soon understood it was more than an artistic profession, but also a way to make a positive impact on your community.
I was attracted to LPW’s way they approach design, and the wide range of projects they work on. I could tell by their portfolio that this was a group of professionals that cared about their community and the work that they put out into the world. Making the choice to move to Montana was easy since I am familiar with the climate and was looking for a change in scenery. Thus far, I have learned Great Falls is a community filled with history and opportunity. It did not take long for me to feel like this was a good place to call home. I have spent my time outside of work enjoying local events, exploring the Montana landscape, and keeping up my creativity through personal artwork.
